Securing trixbox CE

I have created a small guide to help users secure their trixbox CE installs.  This guide is in PDF format and should be readable on just about any system.  This is by no means a definitive guide, but should be used as s way to help users.

According to your PDF you have the command wget http://engineertim.com/install_apf_bfd.sh listed to download the script. The url is coming up with a forbidden message, error 500. Is there a new updated link?

Thank you for pointing this out. Had a issue when I moved it to a new host. Should be resolved now.
    Thank you,

Is this still applicable to latest trixbox CE? I couldn’t download the PDF, it sent me to a DJANGO-powered site that need configuring.

    Thanks!

  4. Engineer Tim says:

Yes, this should be relevant to the latest CE version and pretty much anything linux related. Not just trixbox.
Sorry, was playing around with django and did not realize it affected this site too. The link should be back up and working now.

    Thank you,
    Engineer Tim

  5. Hi. I can’t seem to download the PDF. It seems the file is unavailable. I read it a while back, and it was very informative. Hoping to read it again. Thanks!

There should be a link right off the main article to download the pdf file. Try this link if you can’t get it to work.

Did you write a doc about Nagios on Trixbox as mentioned at the end of this doc? I couldn’t see a link to it on your site.

Nothing yet. I have a ton of notes for a lot of things. Nagios, cacti, mrtg, nrpe. Hopefully I can write something soon and keep my promise.
